Celebrate St. Patricks Day Early at the Tavern.

Dr.Seuss had a famous children's book called Green Eggs and Ham and starting Saturday morning in the great spirit of St. Patrick's Day the Philadelphia Tavern in Old Town will be serving up their adult version with green beers and eggs!

Grab your greenest garb and shamrock shades and head on down to the tavern and get a jump-start on the St. Patrick's Day festivities. Here's the lowdown on what's going on:

  • Doors open Saturday March 12th @ 8am.
  • Green Beer & Eggs available right away.
  • Breakfast served from 8am-10am.
  • Starting at 10am enjoy classic Irish foods such as Guinness Stew, Corn Beef & Cabbage and Shepherd's Pie.
  • Music! Come and listen to the BAGPIPERS! Real Bagpipers will be playing their authentic Irish sounds for all of Manassas to enjoy.
  • The Manassas St. Patrick's Day Parade will be marching right past the Tavern so grab a green beer and a front row seat to the event.
  • FREE! No cover charge to get inside.

If you are busy on Saturday and cannot make the event, don't worry.  The tavern will be hitting the replay button the following Thursday on St. Patrick's Day with all the same specials, including the bagpipers.
