Police are searching for clues that will lead them to a missing 2003 black BMW X5 that disappeared from a home earlier this week.

It happened at a home on the 9600 block of Norfolk Street in Manassas.

The homeowner reported someone had burglarized his house sometime between 5 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Investigators found no signs of forced entry, but believe entry was made through an unlocked rear door, Prince William County Police reports show.

The missing BMW is a sport-utility vehicle with Virginia license plates WWW-1422.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Prince William County Police. Callers need not reveal their identity.
