Auditions for Rooftop Productions' 'Out of Order'
Embrace your inner actor and audition for "Out of Order;" a hilarious comedy by Ray Cooney.
Director Vincent Worthington invites local actors and actresses to audition for Rooftop Productions’ upcoming show “Out of Order.”
The show follows Richard Wiley, a conservative UK minister who attempts to have a secret affair with a secretary. Luck does not seem to be on his side, though, in this outrageous comedy by Ray Cooney.
Obstacles include a conniving waiter, a suspicious hotel manager, an alert private detective, an angry wife, a furious husband, a bungling secretary and a dead body.
The only thing needed is a cast to bring these characters to life.
Auditions will be held on Aug. 21 and 22 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Kellar Theater at the Center for the Arts at the Candy Factory.
Actors should prepare a 1-2 minute comedic monologue. There are roles for six men and three women ages 19 and up.
Performances will be Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., from Nov. 4 to Nov. 19. A rehearsal schedule is yet to be determined.
Rooftop Productions is currently in its sixth year of theater performances. Past shows include “The Glass Menagerie,” “Godspell,” and “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.”
