Simply Sweet on Main is looking to change its name—and they want your help.

The popular Old Town coffee shop has been pleasing customers for two years, but owner Matt Brower said he gets a lot of new customers who think the store is a bakery or candy shop.

The shop, which is extending its coffee line, recently added a 'Main St. Favorites' coffee menu to their traditional 'Coffee Drinks' menu, and Brower said they will be creating even more specialty coffee drinks in the near future. 

"We are looking for a name with a coffee theme and are giving out a $75 gift card to the person whose suggested name is used," Brower said.

The contest started the first weekend in July. Brower wants a big pool of names to pick from, so the contest will continue through the end of summer.

"We've gotten a lot of entries but we are waiting to select to see how many suggestions we get," said Brower, who added that he has not seen any of the them because they are in an enclosed box.

The store will continue to serve food including breakfast items, hot and cold lunch sandwiches, smoothies, ice cream and other desserts.
