Crime Blotter: Manassas-Area Burglaries

A list of recent reported burglaries in the Prince William County Police Department jurisdiction.

 

Prince William County Police recently responded to several apparently unrelated burglaries in the Manassas area. 

Dec. 11: Employees at the 5Twelve on Sudley Road reported at 2:06 p.m. that sometime between 3:30 a.m. and 4 a.m., someone tried to enter the business through the front door. The door was damaged, but police do not believe anyone entered. No property was reported missing. 

Dec. 12: Police responded at 7:29 p.m. to a report of a burglary on the 7900 block of Meadow Court. A homeowner reported that the burglary occurred between 7:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. The burglar likely broke out a rear window and entered that way before stealing a DVD player, TV, camera, jewelry and ammunition. The loss was valued at $1,200. 

Dec. 13: A homeowner on the 8500 block of Cold Harbor Loop reported at 3:47 p.m. that a burglar stole $1,900 worth of electronics. The homeowner reported that a gaming console, two laptops and two cell phones were taken that same day, between 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Police did not find any signs of forced entry, and believe entry was made through an unsecured door.
