Manassas Father Charged in Boy's Drowning
Police charge man with murder more than a year after 15-month-old's death.
The Manassas City Police Department has charged a father in the 2012 death of his 15-month-old son.
Joaquin Shadow Rams, 40, of the 9000 block of Landgreen Street, is charged with first degree murder, Police Sgt. Lowell Nevill noted in a statement Friday.
Prince, who had recently turned a year old, died by drowning Oct. 20 while in Joaquin Rams' care at his home, Nevill said.
Police arrested Rams Friday morning. The suspect was booked into the Prince William County detention center on Friday afternoon, pending arraignment.
Earlier this month, Rams began his own blog disputing McLeod's claims.
