Spring Break for Prince William County schools begins on April 18, so we've scoured the area looking for fun things for the entire  family to do together!

• Head over to the Central Community Library and pick up April’s monthly mind bender contest form and complete it with the whole family. This month’s topic is “Spring Crossword.” You could win a new book if you submit your correct answers! The contest ends on April 30.

• Stop by the Hylton Performing Arts Center and check out the Hilde Vogel-Michalik Drawings and Paintings Exhibition. The exhibit is open every day until April 30.

• The Manassas Farmer’s Market is back for the 2011 season! Check it out at Harris  Pavilion on April 14 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. and April 16 from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

• Fabolous Fridays at the Freedom Fitness and Aquatic Center presents 'Astronaut Adventure' with you little one (2-4 years of age).  Join in the fun of a space adventure made possible through books, play and arts & craft projects. Caregiver participation required. Fee:  $10; Call 703-993-8513 to register.

• Zoo-Wee Mama! at Bull Run Regional Library. End Spring Break with a Wimpy Kid Party complete with games, snacks and other wimpy fun.  When: Monday, April 25 at 11:00 a.m. For kids in grades K and up. 

• Need something to do during Spring Break? The Central Library is celebrating National Library Week! See live animals such as African foxes, chinchillas, and more and explore the fascinating and diverse habitats of the world by bringing the family to see Amazing Animals! For families with children of all ages. Pick up FREE tickets beginning April 13. Show is Wednesday, April 20 at 3 p.m.

• Have fun at the Prince William County Kids Expo at the Fairgounds on April 16 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Attend the Shakin’ the Mess Outta Misery performance at the Hylton Performing Arts Center on april 16 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m

• Enjoy the Aspah Dance Ensemble Spring Concer at the Hylton Performing Arts Center on April 17 at 4 p.m.

• Attend the performance of Sleeping Beauty by the Russian National Ballet Theatre at the Hylton Performing Arts Center on April 18 at 8 p.m.

• Support the local middle and high school celebrities by attending a music or sporting event:
