Dear Friends,

I hope this finds you well and ready to say goodbye to winter and welcome spring. I have been busy getting all the spring merchandise out of the warehouse and into the shop.

This is my favorite time of year. It is so much fun to transform the shop from the darker colors of winter to the soft pastel shades of spring. I have the beautiful hand painted eggs from Austria again this year, lots of spring florals, Easter egg trees and, of course, the bunnies!

I would like to invite you to The Things I Love on Friday evening March 16, 2012, for our "Tie One On Event"We will be introducing our new scarf line from the UK and will be demonstrating 25 ways to tie a scarf. 

We have concocted a very nice "green" punch that is guaranteed to get you in a good "St. Patty's Day mood," and some other green refreshments to go along with it.

The fun will begin at 7 p.m. 

Spring also marks the beginning of the wonderful season of events in Old Town Manassas. The St. Patrick's Day Parade is on March 17th; our 'Hop Around Old Town' Easter Egg Hunt takes place from April 3rd through the 7th; the Farmers' Market begins in April and our Spring Cleaning Day and Sidewalk Sale is on April 21st.

I will send more information on this as it gets closer. I look forward to seeing all of you on the 16th.
