Manassas City Manager Lawrence D. Hughes called shootings "a family and community tragedy."
Manassas City Manager Lawrence D. Hughes spoke at a press conference Friday in response to a double shooting Thursday evening that claimed the life of three people and wounded three more.
Hughes called the shootings a "family and community tragedy." He said the city, area schools, local nonprofit organizations and the Boys and Girls Club of Manassas have been working together to develop a presence and relationship with the Georgetown South community.
