Manassas Police Release Sketch of Threatening Note Suspect
Police said about 20 notes over a three month period have been left around the city of Manassas.
Manassas Police have released an artist's sketch of the man who has reportedly left about 20 threatening notes around the city of Manassas and surrounding areas.
Police said notes about someone have been left at homes around the city, particular those in the Sumner Lake subdivision, just off Liberia Avenue.
The bizarre thing about the notes is, they aren't about anybody living in the targeted homes, police said.
The residents of the homes don't even know the person named in the note.
The subject of the notes hasn't himself been threatened or harm, Manassas Police Sgt. Lowell Nevill said in an earlier report.
The victim told police someone smashed her clay lawn ornaments and left the broken pieces on her doorstep, along with a threatening note.
Victims in the case have confronted the suspect twice, but he wasn't apprehended by police.
Anyone with information about this case or who can identify the suspect is asked to call Manassas Police Det. Heilman at 703-257-8045 or Rosi Guyton at rguyton@manassasva.gov
The Manassas City Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward up to $1000 for information that leads to an arrest in this case. The confidential 24-hour tip line is 703-330-0330.

I'd be interested in knowing what exactly is so threatening in the notes. Just sounds like someone with too much time on their hands and not enough brain power to do something more fitting.

This man may have a mental illness and we need to get him off the streets. He could potentially harm someone in the future.

Jamie do you have young children? It's trespassing, vandalism and just creepy. This is an accident waiting to happen, a building tragedy ready to boil over. Then, like every other time, the media will report that there were signs. How come the police didn't take it serious, blah blah blah. Get this guy off of the streets!
