Police Department Debuts Safer, More Patriotic Vehicle Logo

What do you think of the police department's new logo for patrol vehicles?

The is replacing their marked police vehicle graphics with a safer, more patriotic design, according to a release issued by the department this week.

The new design was approved by Manassas City Police Chief Douglas Keen after the current graphics used since 1990 had become faded and worn.  The new look is more modern, safe and resistant to the elements.

The new designs are more visible and more reflective at night, making the design safer for officers and easier for the public to see, the release stated. They  also will better distinguish city patrol units from those of surrounding agencies.
