New Weather Advisory For Manassas

National Weather Service issues advisory for fast-approaching winter storm.

 

The National Weather Services has issued a winter storm watch for Manassas from Tuesday evening through Wednesday evening.

Snow is expected, with more than five inches possible, according to the NWS, with the potential for significant snowfall somewhere within the watch area. That includes most of Northern Virginia, Stafford and Spotyslvania counties, Fredericksburg and beyond.

Rain is expected to begin Tuesday and turn to snow Tuesday night, with snow predicted to continue into Wednesday evening, according to the NWS.

The weather service warns of difficult driving conditions and potential power outages.
