OHS to Hold Community Shred Fundraiser
All donations will go to the Osbourn High School Band program to purchase new uniforms.
Do you have an accumulation of old bank statements, tax records and other information too sensitive to simply throw in the trash?
Relief is on the way with assistance from TrueShred and your local high school. Osbourn High School is sponsoring a Community Shred Fundraiser event on Saturday, November 10, 2012, from 9 am to noon.
"This is the perfect solution for individuals with 1-10 boxes of sensitive material to shred," said Cathy Morgan, chair of OHS Band Boosters, in an email. "Though we don’t limit the number of boxes you bring to the fundraiser, we will be charging $10 to shred each ‘medium sized’ box (the size of a box of copier paper) of sensitive material."
Participants can drop off boxes by the TrueShred truck, which will be parked in the high schools’ front parking lot. The fundraiser coincides with the annual Veteran’s Day Parade that's weaved through Old Town Manassas for the last three years.
Contact Cathy Morgan at firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange for special pricing, larger donations or local pickup service.
