The City of Manassas held historic events this weekend observing the 150th anniversary of the Second Battle of Manassas from Friday, Aug. 24 to Sunday, Aug. 26. 

Historic 'Living History' sites included the Manassas Museum's Union Encampment with living history demonstrations and Liberia Plantation's Union Headquarters, where visitor's encountered President Abraham Lincoln, visiting General Irvin McDowell who was recovering at Liberia House in Manassas after a fall from his horse.
