An argument between a man and woman allegedly spun out of control Sunday with one person allegedly pointing a gun at the other, according to a Prince William County Police report.

Vale Short, 63, was arrested and charged with brandishing a firearm.

A 61-year-old woman told police the suspect pointed a gun at her at 2:06 a.m. Sunday morning on the 12600 block of Kahns Road in Manassas.

Short was held at the Prince William County Detention Center on a $2,000 bond shortly after his arrest.
