Can You ID: 7-11 Armed Robber

Manassas City Police have released surveillance images of a suspect who entered a 7-11 store on Godwin Drive armed with a gun and demanded money from the store clerk.

 

Manassas City Police (MCPD) are looking for a man believed responsible for robbing a 7-11 clerk at gunpoint early Tuesday morning.

According to Lieutenant Brian Larkin with the MCPD's Investigative Services Division, police responded to the 7-11 store located at 8901 Godwin Drive for the report of a robbery on May 15 at 1 a.m.

The clerk told arriving officers the suspect entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded money.

Police said the suspect was able to get away with an undisclosed amount of cash on foot or possibly a bicycle.

The suspect is described as a white male, early to mid twenties, 5’6 tall with a skinny build.  He was clean-shaven at the time of incident and was wearing a black baseball hat with white writing on the front and possibly an American flag on the side. He was also wearing a black long sleeve shirt tucked into blue cargo pants and black boots. 

This investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about the case or suspect should call  the Manassas City Crime Solvers confidential 24-hour tip line at (703) 330-0330.  A cash reward up to $1,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest in these cases.
