Police: Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Investigation

Nathaniel Lewis Pollard, 23, of the Bull Run area, and Chelsea Rae Davis, 21, of Manassas, were charged with possession of a controlled substance.

A local man and woman were recently charged after police discovered cocaine and PCP in their car during a traffic stop, Manassas City Police said.

Nathaniel Lewis Pollard, 23, of Cass Place in the Bull Run area, and Chelsea Rae Davis, 21, of Treeline Court, Manassas, were charged with possession of a controlled substance.

A Manassas City police officer stopped their car around 10 p.m. on Nov. 18 for a traffic infraction near Dumfries and Wellington Road. The stop led to an investigation, and police discovered cocaine and PCP, police spokesman Officer Lowell Nevill said in a press release.

Officers took both to the adult detention center, where Pollard was held on a bond. Davis was released on her signature. They will appear in court on Jan. 15.
