Prince William County Schools to Close One Hour Early Friday
There's a winter weather advisory this afternoon.
Prince William County schools are closing one hour early Friday, and all afternoon and evening activities are canceled, according to a status on the PWCS Facebook page.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Prince William County, Manassas, and Manassas Park from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.
An inch of snow may accumulate, and roads are likely to be slippery during afternoon commute times, the advisory stated.
