Summer is officially over and kids in our area are headed back to school this week.

School started Tuesday, prompting a rush of school buses and walkers in the area.
As such, area school districts are reminding drivers of the laws surrounding school buses and schools.
About 63,000 of our nearly 84,000 students will be transported by bus in Prince William County alone.
As a result, police in Prince William County and other areas will be out in force to target violations around schools, school crossings, and around school buses.
Kindergarten students in Manassas City Public Schools get an extra day of summer vacation.Their first day will be Wednesday, so be sure to send in your photos all week!
