Stonewall Park Hot Spot for Summer Fun
There's lots to do at Stonewall Park from swimming to gardening and playground fun.
Summer brings people out for fun and relaxation to Stonewall Park. Whether it's cooling off at the pool, walking the dog or spending time with the kids at the playgrounds, Stonewall Park makes the neighborhood an enjoyable place to live. If growing your own vegetables sounds like something you've always wanted to do, the residents now have garden plots available.

Congratulations to Point of Woods on their beautiful new community garden plots. They look great! And it's so cool to see 8 or 10 people out there in the evenings, tending their crops, watering, letting the kids have fun, and talking with their neighbors.

Thanks to VCE Prince William Master Gardener, Paul Gibson for continuing the education with residents. Master Gardeners Jerry Davis, Andrea Kinder, Jeanne Lamczyk and Cindy Patterson helped get the perennials started. These volunteers are great environmental educators through VCE Prince William. Do you have a plant or insect question? Call our Extension Horticulture Help Desk 703-792-7747 to speak to a Master Gardener volunteer.
