Employees at an air conditioning and heating installation company reported that thousands of dollars worth of missing equipment and tools were stolen over the weekend. 

Prince William County Police said that there were no signs of forced entry into Pope's Air on Hornbaker Road. The thief likely entered through an unsecured bay door between 5:30 p.m. Oct. 5 and 7:30 a.m. Oct. 8. Tools and equipment worth $8,700 were reported missing to Prince William County police. 

Police responded to the burglary on Oct. 8 at 9:57 a.m.
