Threatening Note, Broken Yard Ornaments Left at Manassas Front Door

It's not the first time a threatening note was left as a Manassas home, Manassas Police said.

Several broken clay lawn ornaments and a threatening note were left on the door of a Sumner Lake Boulevard home on Saturday, Manassas Police reports show.

The victim told police it happened sometime between 4 p.m. Saturday and 5 p.m. Monday in the Weems neighborhood.

The resident complained someone had broken several of her clay lawn ornaments and left them in front of her front door.

A threatening note referring to someone who didn't live at the home was also found near the front door; the latest in a series of threatening notes left in the area, Manassas Police said.

The note was similar to ones left on the previously reported occasions.
