Woman Struck by VRE Train, Treated for Injuries
A woman was hit near Liberia Avenue before 6 p.m. Friday.
A woman was struck by a VRE train between Manassas and Manassas Park Friday evening and survived.
VRE train 338 was heading toward Union Station shortly before 6 p.m. when it struck the 38-year-old woman near Liberia Avenue, CBS reported.
This is the second incident in the past five weeks. A man was struck and killed on Oct. 10 in the area.

Are there no trespassing signs along the train lines? Common sense would tell you to not walk along the lines, but come on already. This is ridiculous! Stay off the tracks people!
