 am sessions in a supportive and friendly environment. This is not an ope
 n mic. As I see it\, the purpose of an open mic is for an individual to 
 prepare a 15-20 min performance and present it to an audience. In contra
 st\, the purpose of this group is to offer the individual\, novice to ad
 vanced\, an opportunity to play with others in a relaxed group environme
 nt.\nCome and listen\, play or sing. There are beginners who have only b
 een playing a few months and professional players.&nbsp\; Anyone may sug
 gest a song.&nbsp\; The chords are written on a white board so everyone 
 can see them.&nbsp\; And the groups jumps in and plays and sings.&nbsp\;
  You will find that many of the players will offer tips and insight.&nbs
 p\;&nbsp\; It&rsquo\;s an easy going fun group open to meeting new peopl
 e. It's free\, and often there is pizza!&nbsp\;
