DESCRIPTION:The Pastel Society of Virginia&nbsp\;will exhibit in the Buch
 anan Partners Art Gallery at the Hylton Center\, GMU-Manassas\, beginnin
 g at Arts Alive on May 6\, noon-6pm. You will be able to meet artists th
 ere as well as during our reception on May 12 from 5:30-7pm\, which is o
 pen to the public. Artists will discuss the exhibit\, individual paintin
 gs\, inspiration\, and technique. After the Gallery Talk there will be l
 ight refreshments as well as an opportunity to purchase the artwork on d
 isplay\; 30% of all sales will be donated by the artists to the Hylton C
 enter. The exhibit runs throuh June 9\, available during Hylton Center's
  hours of operation.\nThe mission of the Pastel Society of Virginia&nbsp
 \;is to support pastels and pastelists across the Commonwealth\, demonst
 rating the beauty of pastels through painting\, exhibiting\, learning an
