DESCRIPTION:The&nbsp\;Wellington Dolphins Swim Team&nbsp\;is a not-for-pr
 ofit 501(3)(c) organization operating as a Summer Recreation Swim team i
 n Manassas\, Virginia.&nbsp\; Our purpose is to provide opportunities fo
 r swimmers 18 years and under residing in the City of Manassas\, Manassa
 s Park\, Prince William and adjacent areas to participate in a competiti
 ve swim program.&nbsp\; We can accept swimmers who do not live in the We
 llington Community.\nWe offer several programs\, a Pre-Season session to
  prepare our swimmers for Summer Competition\, the Summer Competitive Te
 am\, and our Mini Dolphins program which provides our youngest swimmers 
 who may not be ready to compete an opportunity to get their feet wet.\nO
 ur Coaching Staff is of the highest quality\, many having USA/ASCA\, and
  Life Guard Certifications as well as&nbsp\;Pool Operator licenses issue
 d by the PWCO Health Department.&nbsp\; Most importantly\, they love to 
 work with kids\, and are passionate about swimming.&nbsp\;\nPractices be
 gin the first Tuesday after Memorial Day in the evenings until the Manas
 sas City schools release.&nbsp\; Once school is out\, we offer practice 
 times in the mornings and the evenings.\nOur competition starts with a T
 ime Trial meet\, typically the second Saturday in June.&nbsp\; From ther
 e\, every Saturday we compete in six regular Dual-Meets\; three at our h
 ome pool\, and three at another pool in the Manassas/Prince William Coun
 ty area.&nbsp\; The season ends with a Divisonal Championship meet&nbsp\
 ;the last Saturday in July. Every swimmer on our team who is able to swi
 m 25 meters unassisted is given the opportunity to compete!\nThe Wellint
 gon Dolphins are a member of the Prince William Swim League\, which is s
 anctioned by the Virginia Association of the Amateur Athletic Union (VAA
