CDR Kirk Lippold, USN (Ret), will present his book “Front Burner: Al Queda’s Attack on the USS Cole.” at the Freedom Museum on Thursday, March 27, 2014 from 7:00 PM to 8:45 PM. CDR Lippold will cover his role as Captain of the USS Cole, the attack on the USS Cole, the crew’s response to the attack, and later Al Queda attacks against the United States. CDR Lippold’s book will be available for purchase. Admission is free and light refreshments will be served. The presentation will be at the Museum, located in the Manassas Airport Terminal, 10600 Harry Parrish Blvd., Manassas, VA 20110.
