Pets Up For Adoption At Manassas Petco Community Day

According to the ASPCA, 3 to 4 million pets are euthanized every year in animal shelters across the nation. In order to create awareness for pet adoption and bring the local animal rescue community together, the Manassas Petco is hosting a Community Day on Saturday, May 31, 2014 where several animals in need from over eight local rescue organizations will be up for adoption.

The local rescue groups participating in Petco’s Community Day include Mid-Atlantic German Shepherd Rescue, BREW Beagle Rescue, Boxer Rescue and Adoption, Inc., Common Wealth Humane Society, 4 Paws Rescue, Cavallini di Amore, St. Seton’s Orphaned Animals, Pet Rescue Alliance and more. Additionally, local vendors such as Virginia BBQ, Girl Scouts, LA Fitness, and the local fire department will be out supporting the event with informational booths, free samples and exciting giveaways.

This exciting event will take place on Saturday, May 31, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Manassas Petco, which is located at 10055 Wellington Rd. For more information, please call the store at 703-330-3743 or visit www.petco.com
