Tackett’s Mill Center to Hold First Winter Holiday Art Market
Tackett’s Mill Center in Lake Ridge will show off its beautiful lakeside setting as it plays host to the first ever Winter Holiday Art Market December 14th from 11am to 3pm. Visitors will also be able to preview the Farmer's Market coming in the spring of 2014.
Local writers and artists, as well as musicians from the Ensemble of the Youth Orchestra of Prince William, will share their art in a newly refurbished studio building near the Old Mill.
Market-goers will also be able to enjoy organic fresh-brewed coffee, baked goods, and ethnic treats. Santa and his helpers will welcome everyone inside the Old Mill, and visitors can walk the lovely landscaped grounds, which include a lake and fountain. Those looking for special gifts can browse a variety of local shops.
The Market promises to be an annual affair, with other events planned for the coming year.
