The Brazilian mother, son and daughter trio of Ilma Lopes, Walmir Cunha and Elenir Brown took over the cafe in September and have adopted their food culture from back home while still maintaining the basics of a bakery.

The bakery offers pastries, baked bread & cookies with a delicious twist of international splash.

Coffee from Brazil, Portugal and Columbia offers a diverse variety of styles and flavor to perk you up.

Daughter, Elenir, clearly declares her favorite.

"I have to go with the Brazilian. It is a very unique, strong, delicious coffee. Definitely has that aroma you want to wake up to."

Inexpensive and generous sized sandwiches ($5-$6) will keep your taste buds happy and your wallet at ease.

A must have is a Brazilian favorite: the X-Tudo (Samba Burger) is a cheeseburger topped with fried egg, ham, bacon, sweet corn, peas, green peppers, onions, lettuce, tomato, black olives & potato sticks or, as they say at the cafe, "a party in your mouth!"

Follow up that Samba Burger with a "Pe' de Moleque", Brazil's version of peanut brittle. Asked about the translation of the tasty chocolate covered peanut dessert, Elenir stated: "Somethings you just can't translate! Enjoy!"
