BREAKING: VRE Storm Operations, Manassas Area School Closings, Openings
Find out if Manassas and Prince William County Schools are open or closed on Tuesday, Jan. 21.
The Virginia Railway Express (VRE) will operate as normal on Tuesday, Jan. 21 despite the snow forecast.

The decision was made to operate the commuter rail as normal because the forecast calls for the winter weather to begin after the start of the morning commute.
VRE officials do warn riders, to dress appropriately for the weather and to use caution as they move about the stations and platforms.
Manassas City Public Schools, however, are closed on Tuesday. After-school activities are also canceled. Prince William County Public Schools and Fairfax County Public Schools are also canceled.
