  1. A Celebration of Black History Month
    Where/When: Hylton Performing Arts Center in the Merchant Hall; Saturday, Feb. 19; 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and after.
    Why Go: It is a way to celebrate black history month! The event will feature an Art show followed by a concert from the George Mason University Wind Symphony and Opera Ensemble.
    Pricing: $10

2.     Half Pint Brawlers
Where/When: Hard Times Cafe & Cue; Friday, Feb. 18; beginning at 9:30 p.m.
Why Go: To see the live entertainment like acrobatic show floor talent and Jackass 3D live with Hard Times' friends from the west coast.
Pricing: $15 in advance; $20 at the door.

3.     Skate for Education!
Where/When: Harris Pavilion; Friday, Feb. 18; 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Why Go: To support Manassas City Public Schools Education Foundation to raise awareness for learning. Plus door prizes and yummy treats will be offered!
Pricing: Regular admission and rental fees apply.

4.     Masquerade Ball
Where/When: Manassas St. Thomas United Methodist Church; Saturday, Feb. 19; 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Why Go: Who doesn't like getting dressed up for a night out on the town? Join Manassas St. Thomas UMC for an evening of dancing, food, and fun to support their JNS Music Mission.
Pricing: $15 for adults; $8 for children 10 & under; dancing only is just $8.

5.     Steven Lessick and Historical Images
Where/When: Center for the Arts at the Candy Factory; Thursday and Friday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Why Go: To get in touch with a look at humanity. Photographer Steve Lessick brings his work to the Caton Merchant Family Art Gallery where photos of his current work as a firefighter are displayed. Coupled with images from former Prince William County fire fighting days, which are borrowed from the MVFC Museum archives, bring this exhibit a unique and rich contrast.
