Get Out: Go See the Area’s Biggest Easter Egg Drop

This is Easter weekend, so don’t miss out on some fun stuff to do around town. There is lots going on! Play some pong, watch Easter eggs drop, or hear the real story of Easter. Whatever you do, don’t miss out.

1. Join the World Pong Tour fun at Mackey’s
   Where/When: Mackey’s American Pub; Thursday, April 21; 10:00 p.m.
   Why Go: Win a trip to Atlantic City by participating in the World Pong Tour Championship. Stop by Mackey’s and grab a beer while you play some pong. Don’t forget to check out the rules!

2. Go to an Easter Service of Darkness
   Where/When: Manassas St. Thomas United Methodist Church; Friday, April 22; 12 noon and 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
   Why Go: Experience the last words of Christ and seven coral mediations at this celebratory service of Easter.
   Pricing: Free (and free child care!).
3. Hop Around Old Town!
   Where/When: Old Town Manassas; now through Saturday, April 23; 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
   Why Go: Select an Easter egg for each purchase you buy from participating merchants and get a chance to win prizes! See website for details and participating stores.
   Pricing: Free to participate – you just have to shop!
4. Do some Spring cleaning!
   Where/When: Harris Pavilion; Saturday, April 23; 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
   Why Go: To ‘let the fresh air in and clean those closets out!’ Old Town Manassas will be providing an opportunity for the community to get rid of items for reuse and recycle. Plus, there’ll be kid-friendly activities, art displays, entertainment and more!

5.  Go see the Area’s Biggest Easter Egg Drop
   Where/When: Stonewall Jackson High School; Saturday, April 23; 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
   Why Go: Hosted by The Life Church, a helicopter will be dropping over 10,000 eggs onto Stonewall Jackson’s football stadium for their Servolution event. There will be face painting, moon bounces, games, and an Easter bag for all.
   Pricing: Free!
