Grab and Go Kids Planner: Sporting Events and Library Fun

There are plenty of high school sporting events and programs at the libraries to keep the whole family busy this week.

Celebrate the first week of school with some fun activities all week long.

There are plenty of high school sporting events and programs at the libraries to keep the whole family busy this week:

  • Head over to the Central Community Library and pick up September’s monthly mind bender contest form and complete it with the whole family. This month’s topic is “Back to School Puzzle.” You could win a new book if you submit your correct answers! The contest ends on Sept. 30.

  • Find some treats at the Manassas Farmers’ Market at the Harris Pavilion in Old Town Manassas on Sept. 8 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sept. 13 from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

 

  • Attend Bingo night with the OWL Volunteer Fire Department in Woodbridge on Sept. 10 at 5:15 p.m.

  • Find some good books at the Friends of the Library Book Sale at Bull Run Regional Library on Sept 9 and 10 from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.

  • Enjoy the 1st Annual Free Concert to Support Grab Your Groceries at Northern Virginia Community College Manassas Campus on Sept. 10 at 11 p.m.
