Grab and Go Kids Planner: Summer Fun for the Whole Family

Enjoy the summer weather and get outside with the whole family this week.

• Head over to the Central Community Library and pick up July’s monthly mind bender contest form and complete it with the whole family. This month’s topic is “Amazing Tales Around the World.” You could win a new book if you submit your correct answers! The contest ends on July 30.

• Find some treats at the Manassas Farmers’ Market in Old Town Manassas on July 7 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. and July 9 from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

• Decorate the sidewalks at Central Community Library on July 7 from 10:30 -11:30 a.m. Even if it rains, everyone can decorate paper inside with chalk.

• Come out for the different programs during the Science Museum of Virginia’s visit at Central Community Library on July 12 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

• Make a glitter firework craft during the Together at Twilight program at Bull Run Regional Library on July 6 at 7 p.m.

• Enjoy the 1st SummerSounds Concert by Jay Ungar and Molly Mason at Harris Pavilion on July 9 from 6:30-8 p.m.

• Climb the rock wall at the Freedom Aquatic and Fitness Center on July 10 at 11 a.m.
