Manassas Home to Region's Only Military Veterans Parade

The Manassas parade is the only active Military Veterans Day Parade in the entire D.C. area and will take place on November 12.

The third annual Greater Manassas Veterans Day Parade is just over a month away and the committee has  announced its Grand Marshals for the event.

Past parades have honored the nation's veterans, including a special tribute to WWII service in 2009 and to Korean War service in 2010. This year that tradition continues with a special tribute to Vietnam veterans, according to the event's website.

Five Grand Marshals have graciously accepted the parade committee's invitation to pay homage and respect to our nation's Vietnam Era veterans, according to WUSA 9.
