A fundraiser for a program that could save the lives of hundreds of missing people is Thursday in Manassas.
Project Lifesaver is a program that uses radio wave-emitting bracelets to track people who are prone to wandering off, such as those with Autism and Alzheimer’s Disease.
Prince William County has a Project Lifesaver program, but help and funds are needed to get the program up and running in Manassas Park.
That's where Thursday's fundraiser comes in.
Eat a meal at Ledo Pizza on Liberia Avenue in Manassas between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m. on Thursday and a portion of the bill will be donated to the project.
