Wintry Mix, Snow Expected Overnight

National Weather Service predicting one to two inches of snow overnight.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory from 9 p.m. tonight until 7 a.m. Tuesday.

The weather service said that a wintry mix of sleet and rain will begin late Monday evening and will change into snow after midnight. NWS predicts accumulations of one to two inches of snow overnight.

After a few days in the high 60s, temperatures will plummet into the 30s tonight.

The advisory means road conditions may be slippery making for difficult traveling conditions. Officials are urging caution as Tuesday morning’s commute could be very slick.
