Avicii Concert Hospitalizations Come Ahead of Bristow Show Sunday

At least 36 people hospitalized, dozens treated at TD Garden in Boston.

More than three dozen concertgoers had to be hospitalized during an Avicii concert in Boston on Wednesday night. The Swedish disc jockey will be performing at the Jiffy Lube Live amphitheater Sunday night.

Boston.com reports the incident was declared a "Phase 2 Mass Casualty Incident," with victims taken out of TD Garden on stretchers. There were no life-threatening injuries and most of the cases appear related to intoxication or drug use, according to The Boston Herald.

Mike Bosse, Boston EMS deputy superintendent, told reporters that 50 people were treated or evaluated at the scene.
