Manassas Son Set to Play Lacrosse at Furman University this Fall

Manassas resident Scott Primeau will be making moves on a lacrosse field down at a South Carolina university.

A Manassas resident is set to put his sporting skills to work this fall as a lacrosse player for Furman University in South Carolina.

Scott Primeau committed to Furman in December, a few months before he graduated from Paul VI Catholic School in Fairfax where he was a lacrosse midfielder.

Scott also played on the school's football, winter track and champion soccer teams, according to a release sent by Paul VI Catholic School.  While engaged in sports, he managed to maintain a 3.4 Grade Point Average (GPA) and serve as a peer mentor for students with intellectual disabilities.

Classes at the Greenville, SC college began later this month.
