Storms Cancel 2 VRE Trains to Manassas

A brief but intense tempest that moved through the area Friday afternoon caused the cancellation of Trains 331 and 335 on the Manassas Line of the Virginia Railway Express, according to the agency's Facebook page.

Down trees and flood restrictions on the Manassas Line caused the cancellation.
Subsequent trains will experience at least a one hour delay, complicating the commute for thousands of Manassas, Manassas Park and Prince William County residents.
