Boutique Provides Free Wedding Dresses for Military Brides with Operation Wedding Gown

Jeanette's Bride N' Boutique, other local merchants helped make day special.

As part of the Brides Across America event Wednesday, military brides shopped for free dresses at Jeanette's Bride 'N Boutique in Manassas.

Held twice a year in boutiques across america, Operation Wedding Gown events help brides or their fiancés serving in the military or recently deployed. These families can face financial hardships and other challenges that complicate wedding planning.

It just feels great to be able to give something back and actually watch somebody walk out so happy, so excited," store manager Kiera Ogdin told WJLA.
