Carmello's to Offer Valentine's Day Extras to Diners

One of Manassas' most romantic restaurants is throwing in a little something special for couples who make it their Valentine's Day dining spot. 

Staff plan to give each lady a red rose with dinner.  Each gentleman will receive chocolate, said a spokeswoman for Carmello's and its sister restaurant, Monza. 

A complimentary glass of Champagne will also be given to V-day diners. 
An announcement about Valentine's Day dinner specials is forthcoming. 

If your Valentine's Day dinner at Carmello's has a different flair, it'll be because Carmello's welcomed a new head chef to its kitchen this winter. Paula Cano, a native of Colombia received a promotion in November.

Carmello's, described as an American restaurant with Portuguese and Mediterranean influences, was established 26 years ago Alice Pires, a relative of the restaurant's general manager Miguel Pires.
