Denny's Offers Free Food to Federal Employees

Government shutdown prompts another freebie for federal workers.

Federal employees can get a free meal at Denny's  for the rest of October because of the government shutdown.

Federal employees—furloughed or not—and military personnel can help themselves to some free grub for the rest of October at Denny's restaurants in Maryland, the District and Virginia. 

The chain is offering a free entree with the purchase of another entree to all federal employees with proper government identification. All 53 Denny's locations in the D.C. metro are participating in the promo, Seth Grugle a spokesman for the company said. 

There are Denny's locations in Manassas at 8201 Sudley Rd and in Fairfax at 10473 Lee Highway.  

Denny's isn't the only business offering discounts to federal employees during the government shutdown. TITLE Boxing Club is offering up free workouts and fee waivers to government employees
