Health Clinic to Open Inside Manassas Target

Construction on the Target Clinic at the Super Target in Sowder Village Square will begin in May.

Weeks after closing the doors for good at its Manassas Mall location, retail giant Target is making its location on Nokesville Road in Manassas more appealing with the addition of a health clinic.

The Target Clinic opening inside the Super Target will be staffed seven days a week by a nurse practitioner or physician assistant.  The clinic will offer more than 60 health services including vaccinations, according to a press release issued by Target.

In addition to the Manassas Super Target, Target stores in Chantilly and Sterling are also set to open clinics this year.

There are currently four Target Clinics in Virginia and 54 in six states; 14 planned new clinics, including the three new Northern Virginia locations, will bring the total to 68, according to the release.

The news of the expansion of the Super Target comes on the heels of the closing of the 15-year-old Target store at the Manassas Mall.
