U.S. Senate candidate Tim Kaine will visit senior citizens in Manassas on Wednesday for a town hall discussion.
The town hall begins at 2 p.m. at Birmingham Green Willow Oaks Assisted Living in building 8595 on Centreville Road, just outside of Manassas Park.
Kaine is slated to discuss plans to strengthen Social Security and Medicare, as well as his opposition to plans that would privatize such programs, according to information issued by Kaine's campaign Tuesday.
Before his afternoon stop in Manassas, the former Virginia governor will visit the Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia in Fairfax at noon.
Some of the topics of that discussion will likely include job creation and the U.S. relationship with Israel, according to a press release issued Tuesday.
