Kick and Punch Something: Manassas Boxing Club Offers Free Workouts to Furloughed Workers

Not working? Well, work out. People furloughed by the feds can do it for free at one Manassas boxing club.

Furloughed Manassas-area workers can direct their frustrations the boxing bags at a local gym that's offering free workouts to federal employees.

TITLE Boxing Club on Liberia Avenue in Manassas is allowing federal employees who aren't working because of the federal shutdown free workouts for a week, a spokesperson for the company said on Tuesday.

Established TITLE members who are affected by the federal furlough get to go a month without paying their regular member dues.
Kicking and punching as a workout is a good way to relieve stress, build confidence and burn calories, TITLE trainers said.

The gym is new to the popular Manassas shopping and business strip and is located at 9726 Liberia Ave.
