Portuguese Vino Wins Carmello's Restaurant a Fourth Award
Carmello's in Manassas won an award from Wine Spectator Magazine.
Fine wine can do a lot of things including win a small restaurant a prestigious award for the fourth year in the row.
That's the case with Carmello's of Old Town Manassas which won Wine Spectator Magazine’s 2013 Award of Excellence.
The magazine noted Carmello's vast selection of Portuguese wines—one of the largest in the U.S.
The Center Street restaurant features more than 100 Portuguese Wines from several wine regions in Portugal including Alentejo, Douro, Doa, Estremadura and Vinho Verde.
