Subway in Old Town: What Should Go There?

Tell us the franchise, small business that is perfect for this spot.

It was fun to enjoy the ice-skating rink a few weeks ago, but we couldn't help but notice the dark, empty space across the street.

The former Subway on West Street still has the signs up, but the inside has been completely guttered. So, it's time to think about what's next.

Of course, the location is convenient to The Harris Pavilion. It's also just around the corner from Prospero's Books and local restaurants on Center Street.

Is there another franchise that would be successful in this space? How about a local small business? Tell us in the comments section below!

NOT Starbucks. Ground Central Station is 100 better than box store coffee. Stop with all the restaurants! Old Town will suffer this summer when folks can't find parking and restaurants will start to falter.

Support local mom and pop shops. We have 3 empty spaces now and that is how the decline of an area starts!!!
