Vertical Rock Hosting Grand Opening This Weekend

New Manassas business offers soaring attractions.

Vertical Rock Indoor Climbing Center, which  is one of the largest gyms and also home to the largest indoor climbing arch, has opened a new location in Manassas.

According to a press release issued by the city, the new center is located at 10225 Nokesville Road and will host a grand opening celebration all day Saturday, July 14, from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m.

Things you can find at Vertical Rock include open climb sessions, lessons, summer camps, parties and customized climbing experiences for all ages and skill levels, according to the press release. Climbing wall heights reach 55 feet, and the facility boasts over 18,000 square feet of terrain with more than 250 climbing routes that can be customized. 

Classes available offer an array of options, ranging from learning the ropes basic classes, climbing movement, advanced climbing, sport leading, crack climbing clinics, and women-specific climbing courses, to guided outdoor trips.

Vertical Rock also includes a cross-training fitness area with strength and cardio
equipment, a state-of-the-art yoga room with classes designed to help balance
and coordination, two private conference/birthday rooms, and a Wi-Fi equipped lounge.

Manassas Mayor Harry J. “Hal” Parrish II will attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new business at 1 p.m. Saturday.
